The bio

Raised on gravel,
ruined by Austin.

Rick Tillman grew up thirty miles east of Austin in Bastrop, where the entertainment options were the river, the Dairy Queen, and whatever your uncle said at Thanksgiving. He has been mining that last one professionally since 2016.

His act sits somewhere between a front-porch story and a small legal deposition: patient, specific, and suddenly much darker than you agreed to. He headlines clubs and breweries across Central Texas, hosts the barn show Loose Gravel, and is currently building an hour about inheriting a house with opinions.
